Choose your call microphone

Download and install BlackHole 2ch separately from the official BlackHole website. Follow the installer and restart when requested.
Enable the call microphone in WristMic, then start the mic on Watch.
In System Settings → Sound → Input, select BlackHole 2ch. Keep your normal output device.
In your calling app's audio settings, select BlackHole 2ch. If WeChat has no device menu, set the system input first and reopen WeChat. Other apps may need their own input selection.
Use WristMic's five-second recording test. Stop the Watch mic before playback. Confirm audio with your call partner, and stop streaming when finished.

Disable automatic pause dictation during calls to avoid inserting conversation into the current text field. BlackHole routes audio; it does not transcribe speech.

Connection trouble

Keep both devices on a reachable local network and the Mac app running. VPNs, guest Wi-Fi and device isolation can prevent access. Allow local-network traffic. Discovery alone does not confirm a working audio connection.

No inserted text

Check Watch audio, model readiness, Input Monitoring and Accessibility. Focus the destination field before holding Control. Mouse clicks and other keys cancel capture. Try the built-in practice field first. Secure or paste-restricted fields may not work.

Echo or dropouts

Lower speaker volume, move your wrist away from speakers, or use headphones. Check wireless connectivity. Never choose BlackHole as the system speaker output for this setup.
